2006 р. – захистила кандидатську дисертацію на тему «Проблема формування професійно-педагогічної компетентності вчених вищих навчальних закладів Слобожанщини (кінець ХІХ – початок ХХ століття)» зі спеціальності 13.00.01 – загальна педагогіка та історія педагогіки;
Вчене звання доцента отримала у 2008 р.
З 2009 по 2012 р. проходила наукову підготовку в докторантурі.
2012 р. – захистила дисертацію на здобуття наукового ступеня доктора педагогічних наук на тему: «Учені ради в системі діяльності університетів України ХІХ століття»; спеціальність 13.00.01 – загальна педагогіка та історія педагогіки;

Автор понад 250 наукових праць, серед яких 5 монографій (4 у співавторстві), 2 розділи у колективних монографіях, 10 статей у міжнародних виданнях, індексованих у базах Scopus, WOS, 140 статей у фахових збірниках України та зарубіжних періодичних виданнях, 80 тез доповідей на конференціях різних рівнів.

Представниками наукової школи видано 5 монографій, 1 підручник, 20 методичних рекомендацій, 2 науково-популярних видання, опубліковано понад 150 статей у фахових виданнях України, 20 – у міжнародних періодичних виданнях, 15 – проіндексовано в базах Scopus, WOS. Отримано 4 свідоцтва про реєстрацію авторського права, підготовлено аналітичні звіти з історії ХНПУ імені Г.С. Сковороди, Учительського інституту, Інституту шляхетних дівчат, кафедри педагогіки, видатних діячів освіти і науки Слобожанщини. Організовано 14 і взято участь більше ніж у 150 науково-практичних конференціях міжнародного, всеукраїнського і регіонального рівнів.
